Dora Hu, LMFT

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA BBS Lic#102495) with over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy across a range of settings, including community mental health, correctional facilities, and hospitals. Since transitioning to full-time private practice in 2020, I have focused my work on supporting individuals and families within the immigrant community. As an immigrant myself, I bring both personal insight and professional expertise to the complex emotional challenges that arise from navigating immigration processes, cultural transitions, and shifts in family dynamics. My practice addresses concerns such as depression, anxiety, work-related stress, and intergenerational or cross-cultural family issues. In addition to therapy, I provide professional psychological evaluations for immigration cases, offering compassionate and culturally informed assessments to help clients strengthen their legal proceedings.
